Bayern Munich boss, Carlo Ancelotti has said his side was not lucky enough when they failed to utilize their opportunities to defeat Real Madrid at home in the Champions League quarter final first leg at Munich.
He, however, said Bayern still has the chance of progressing ahead of Real Madrid.
Bayern suffered a 2-1 loss to Real Madrid at the Allianz on Wednesday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace to become the first player ever to score 100-goal in continental competition.
His goals helped give Real the upper hand ahead of next Tuesday’s second leg.
The Italian gaffer told reporters after the game, “We had no luck tonight and it was the small details which made the difference.
“[Arturo Vidal] missed the penalty when we could have made it 2-0, then we conceded right at the start of the first half and that changed the match.’
“Sometimes you miss a penalty, that was not the first one, and it will not be the last one, but we can build on the first half.
“It will be more difficult in Madrid, but we still have a chance, we are still alive.
“We will look to take our chance. We will try to do our best.”
